Unlike other art competitions organized in our country, The BStart Production Fund focuses on artworks to be produced, not already produced. The Production Fund is completely unrequited and all rights of the produced work belong to the artist.
BStart organises an open call on the internet each year to encourage artists for new productions, help them to take bolder steps in building their individual languages and opening up a platform for their projects that they were not able to realise so far . Projects submitted through our website will be evaluated by a selection committee.
Every year a new guest curator will create his/her own jury from at least 3 people.
There is no age limit.
BStart Production Fund is open to all Turkish Republic and Turkish Cypriot artists from every discipline.
Participants will only submit their proposals and presentations in draft form by posting them on our website during Open Call.
